D Day 28th May HERE WE GO

Introducing the Intrepid adventures of Michael and Faye as they embark on this momentous journey. Watch as they explore Africa and Europe and everything in between. Watch as they sample new cultures, food and wine aplenty, test their navigational skills in canal boat craft in France, enduring  sore arses from biking , driving cars on the wrong side of the road, leaping across the language barriers, braving the lofty altitudes of Ethiopia, learning how to tell if the big kitty is hungry and getting their “Gorilla Noises” in sync. Life may never be the same again!!!!!!!

  1. 28th May is drawing near and oh boy what a couple of weeks it has been since we started our blog...we have sold our house and have had 2 weeks to vacate 5,300 square feet...thank goodness for wonderful friends who have come to our rescue....AND.....I developed a cancer in my ear which has meant numerous trips to Tauranga to have 2 operations and our trip to the Noosa Wine and Food Festival with our Whangamata Wine group had to be cancelled...but it's all good as on our return on the 1st November we can move forward and find ourselves a smaller dwelling....on reflection, we have have had so much fun along the way with the stress of packing...we sold one chair on Trade Me to a very nice Chinese guy who ended up coming and buying a whole truck load which certainly relieved the pressure of storing things...it's all go for the last few days to vacate the property, get the cleaning done and pack our bags to wing our way out of NZ in 8 days!!
